Beylix is the first planet of the protostar Penglai in the Kalidasa system. S/2040(Penglai)01 was discovered in 2040.
It is used as a smuggling rendezvous. Malcolm Reynolds' war buddy Monty was captured by the Alliance here during the Unification War.
