To celebrate the cult-favorite sci-fi drama's 10th anniversary, Science Channel filmed a new one-hour special chronicling the Firefly cast reunion at Comic-Con San Diego in 2012.
The special — titled Firefly: Browncoats Unite — was recorded at a special roundtable interview that took place just prior to the reunion panel. Stars Nathan Fillion, Alan Tudyk, Summer Glau, Adam Baldwin, Sean Maher, showrunner Tim Minear, and writer Jose Molina participated in the interview, and were joined by series creator Joss Whedon during the main Comic Con panel. Taped interviews by Morena Baccarin, Jewel Staite and Gina Torres supplemented the interview and panel. Ron Glass was not featured in the special.
