Trivia[]

  • Kālidāsa was a Sanskrit writer.
  • The planet Delphi is named for the ancient Greek city state. The moons of Delphi are named after three of the Nine Muses: Calliope, the Muse of Epic Poetry, Thalia the Muse of Comedy and Clio, the Muse of History.
  • Oberon is named after the character from a Midsummer Night's Dream. Similar to Ariel and Miranda, all three planets share their names with moons of Uranus, which in turn were named after characters from Shakespeare. Oberon's moons also share their names with characters from A Midsummer Night's Dream.
  • Xiabalia is the name of the underworld in Mayan mythology. Its name means "place of fright".
