The Peacemakers are an Independent faction formed after the events of Serenity.
Overview[]
The group was formed in 2518 after the crew of Serenity exposed the experiments on Miranda, and how the Alliance created the Reavers. The group is seen as fanatical by members of the New Resistance, due to their belief that secession is not enough to stop Alliance interference; the only solution, in their eyes, is the complete downfall of the Alliance.
The Peacemakers are not above using terror tactics to spread their message. The cell on Burnet planned to blow up passenger ships that Iridium miners ("Silverliners", to the locals) from the Core would use to transport the ore they mined on-planet to sell on the Central planets.[1]
