Poseidon, known originally as S/2176(Ariel)03, was the third moon orbiting the planet Ariel in the White Sun system. Poseidon was home to some of the Core's more popular and extravagant retreats, and the Stimmengott opera house was located in the city of Rishi.

- Poseidon was the Greek god of the sea/ocean, his Roman equivalent being Neptune and his weapon the Trident. His "predecessor" was the titan Oceanus, whose sister-wife was Tethys.
