Professer — Professor Rao teaches her class

Professor Rao was a teacher on the planet Osiris. She taught a young River Tam.

A firm believer in the Alliance, she would often teach, and spoke to her students about the formation of the Alliance with great pride and intellect. River Tam was once part of her class.

River was nine years old - the rest of her class was made up of twelve year olds and thus she was a very advanced student.

Because of her brilliant IQ River would often disrupt Professor Rao's teachings with blunt statements about the Alliance, unsettling not only Professor Rao but her classmates as well.
