This man was the father of Ross Macintosh, the pilot of the Aces and Eights. The owner of a ranch, he struggled to support his family and had to make his children work on the ranch rather than go to school. Along with his wife, he died as a result of his hard life, and his children sold the ranch and split the proceeds between them.
