The Special Alliance Support, also known as the SAS, was an elite Union of Allied Planets special operations forces unit that had its base on the planet Londinium.

- This is the in-universe equivalent of the Special Air Service, the elite British army unit, also operating from London (UK in this case). The SAS name is also used for several military units in nation-states that were colonized and/or ruled by the British Empire.
