From sources I've read, namely the official stunt replica of the gun its a "Moses Brothers Self-Defense Engine Frontier Model B" produced by the "Moses Brothers Firearms" company. I'm going to edit the article to match this if nobody has any issues.--Kahn Iceay 02:57, November 11, 2009 (UTC)
- You can see where I'm getting the info from here http://store.quantummechanix.com/assets/images/serenity/StuntPistol/Mal_Pistol-21.jpg --Kahn Iceay 03:09, November 11, 2009 (UTC)
- Good find, thanks a lot for adding it in and welcome to the Wiki :-). Grunny

- Not a problem and Thanks. I noticed you switched the article to a past point of view, is that the standard for the wiki? I'm used to doing it in that but I noticed the article was in present point of view when I edited it and wasn't sure. --Kahn Iceay 04:24, November 11, 2009 (UTC)
- Yes, the standard is past-tense. The policies for standardizing our layouts have only recently been made so there's still a lot of articles written in presence tense or out-of-universe style. You can find the general writing policy here but a more complete layout guide is being drafted so hopefully the Wiki will become more uniform :). You can see the style of the Wiki in our current Featured articles :-). Cheers, Grunny

Behind the Scenes[]
If this can be sourced, or properly confirmed it might be a nice bit of info to put in a background or behind the scenes section. But according to the Internet Movie Firearms Database here and here Mal's Model B is, in reality, a dressed up Taurus Model 85 what's looks are inspired by Volcanic repeaters of the Civil War. The second link (Serenity page link as opposed to the first Firefly one) even has some nice pictures of the actual inner workings of the gun. --Kahn Iceay 04:05, January 12, 2010 (UTC)
