There seems to be a discrepancy on Simon being part of the 'Crew' from Firefly to Serenity (movie). Has anyone addressed this?199.102.47.72 18:50, October 8, 2009 (UTC)

I don't think its so much a discrepancy as it is an evolution. Several months pass from the end of Firefly to the beginning of Serenity, and Mal points out that the Doctor pays his way with his medical services. So in effect, Simon is part of the crew; it just took him a while to be accepted. Remember, when Book was dying, Mal told him that he was part of his crew despite their fractious relationship. - Cavalier One^{(From here to the eyes and the ears of the Verse)} 21:24, October 8, 2009 (UTC)
