Thetis is a planet located somewhere between the Border and the Rim, sitting closer to the latter.[1]
The planet is mostly a dry desert, populated by hundreds of small towns and cities. There are few oceans, which are small and densely salted, and therefore incapable of sustaining marine life. As a result, drinkable water is as precious as gold to its inhabitants.
