Formerly a poor and undeveloped frontier planet, the Alliance chose it as a site for a new gearshift assembly factory for military skiffs.
Jayne Cobb and Temperance McCloud stole military skiffs from a Blue Sun Corporation factory here some time when they were partners-in-crime.
