White Sun, also known as Bai Hu, was the central star of the Verse. Around this star orbit the Core Planets, as well as the four additional stars that make up the stellar cluster: Huang Long, Zhu Que, Xuan Wu, and Qing Long.
Background
White Sun was a high-magnitude, A-class star. Due to its immense mass (approx. 40 solar masses), it appears to be a relatively young star. The other stars orbiting it have the same attributes of main sequence stars, but must also therefore be young.
The surface temperature of White Sun is at the upper limit of A-class stars, around 10,000 degrees Kelvin. The nearest planets orbit at a considerable distance, enabling them to support life (after terraforming).
